Pepper
Pepper is a three year old Cocker Spaniel. Her proud parent is Tammy Day. Tammy rescued Pepper from the Hancock County Humane Society when she was one year old. Tammy was volunteering one Saturday at the Humane Society and a black and white streak happened to catch her eye in the play area. After inquiring, sure enough, the little Cocker was up for adoption. But, at the time, was in quarantine for a week. So, Tammy was put on a phone list. Everything worked out and Plum soon became Pepper.
Pepper became a guest at the Howl-a-Day Inn on January 18, 2005. She usually spends half days with us. She's a very sweet little girl. She's very quiet and very shy. She's attended obedience and agility classes. She has won numeroud ribbons. Roscoe, her house mate, also joins her here for half days. They are inseperable.
Pepper loves to play with Roscoe and loves to chase tennis balls. She stays to herself somewhat, but also joins in with everyone. She recently made a new friend, Peanut, a little terrier. Tammy has reported that she has a couple favorite toys that she likes to shake the stuffing out of. She likes to hunt bugs, the locus being the "big catch".
Pepper loves to do agility with Tammy. They make a great team and have a blast together. Her favorite place to rest is on the back of the couch, where she can see the street and bark at everything that passes by.
