Chewy

Chewy is a two and a half year old Beagle. His proud parent is Deb Neville. Deb heard of a beagle pup for sale from a breeder in McComb, who was going to give him to a shelter because nobody had bought him. Deb went to look at the pup and fell in love with him.

Chewy became a guest at the Howl-a-Day Inn on March 2, 2005. He shares his home with sisters Angel and new addition Candy, who are also guests. You know when the Neville kids have arrived because you hear them long before you see them. They are barking in the car when Deb pulls up and by the time they get inside, it sounds like the Hounds of Baskerville have arrived. They are so excited to be here and ready to play with their friends.

Chewy loves to romp and play. He has a lot of energy and is on the go most of the time. He is quite the sniffer, too. By the time he has left, I'm sure he has sniffed every inch. He loves all of the attention we give to him and of course we don't mind lavishing him with love. Chewy plays well with everyone, but his best pal is Joey. He hangs a lot with his sister Angel and is your typical big brother in that he is very protective of her.

Deb has reported that Chewy got his namy obviously from chewing on things. He is quite the momma's boy and loves to sleep under the covers, head and all. He does the "Chewy Stare" and stares you right in the eyes and barks until you figure out what he wants.
