Henry

Henry is a five year old long-haired Dachshund mix. His proud parent is Dani Pollack. Dani is a veterinarian technician at Findlay Animal Hospital. Henry was brought into the FAH by the Humane Society. When Henry was brought in, he was cold, starving, and had three pelvic fractures. So, with some much needed medical attention and a lot of TLC, Henry recuperated and was now in need of a good home. Who could resist Henry’s sweet face, charming personality, and those BIG brown eyes? Not Dani! She fell in love and gave Henry his forever home.

Henry became a guest at day care and part of OUR family on January 26, 2005. When Henry comes for a day of day care, you know it’s going to be a fun day. Aunt Tabby usually announces Henry’s arrival in her own unique way of saying Hennnnnnn-Reeeeeeee! Henry always brings along his cousins, Parker, a miniature schnauzer and tiny but MIGHTY Rocky, a chihuahua and sometimes his brother Seger, a corgi. LET THE PARTY BEGIN!!!

What can you say about Henry?! He is THE Henry! Everybody LOVES Henry. He’s your all around party guy, the life of the party so-to-speak. He doesn’t have any close pals or best furry friends; he’s ready to play with whoever is “up” for playing that day. He never causes any problems; he’s just having a good time.

Dani tells us that Henry can be the sweetest luv or the stinkiest brat – you never know which. I can envision Henry with a little angel on one shoulder and a little devil on the other. He is a great play friend. Even though he has short little legs, he can get to tall places. For example, one time he got up on the counter and ate a WHOLE box of Swiss Miss Cocoa – 12 packets of chocolate dust!! The devil made him do it!! Ask Aunt Cindy about the time Henry was standing on her table?!! Oh Henry!

Whether Henry is being the evil genius and not using his brain for good or being the sweetest sweetheart that he can be, he has left his paw prints on our hearts forever and that is why he is our “Dog of the Month” for November. We LOVE you, Henry.

Henry says:
Everybody have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving and save a drumstick for me!
