Libby

Libby is a two and a half year old Lab. Her proud parents are Jeremy and Nicole Boone and their daughter Lauryn. The Boone's decided when they got a house with a big fenced in back yard that they would get a dog. When they bought their house, they decided it was time to go on a dog search. The first litter of pups they saw, they fell in love with the last female of the litter. It must have been love at first sight for the little black Lab too, because when they went to pick her up the next day, she was waiting at the gate for them.

Jeremy and Nicole decided to give their puppy the formal name of Liberty Louise. Derived from the initials of their first daughters name, Leslie Irene (L.I.B.) then became the beginning of Libby's name. Libby Loo, as we affectionately call her, became a guest at the Howl-a-Day Inn on February 3, 2005. She usually spends two or three days a week with us.

Libby is a nonstop bundle of jumping energy. When she arrives at Day Care, Jeremy or Nicole usually say, "Here, take her!!" We know she's ready to PLAY! Libby is like the energizer bunny, because she just keeps going and going. She plays with friends, Sadie and Shister, but for the most part she doesn't really have a best friend, she's on the go so much she just plays with everyone.

Libby especially loves us to play ball with her. She fetches and brings the ball to you and drops it. If you don't look at her, she will pick up the ball again and will drop it until you throw it again. Libby now has someone else to play with, her new baby brother Sonny, a yellow Lab puppy who now joins her at Day Care.

Even though here at Day Care we haven't seen the talented side of Libby, it has been reported to us that Libby is quite the home interior designer. Does your closet need cleaned out? How about a room need rearranged? No job too big or small. Call Miss Libby today for an appointment for your complete extreme home make over. She will take care of that right away for you. 1-800-DIS-ASTER. We also understand if Lib had her way, she would kick mom and dad out of bed so she could share it with her best cat friend, Precious.

Putting her talent aside, Libby is a very sweet and loving girl who is very smart and listens well. She loves other dogs, cats, rabbits, babies, and children. We all love Libby Loo and she has left her paw prints on our hearts. That's why she's the Dog of the Month for November.
