Jasmine

Jasmine is a 2 year old chocolate Labrador retriever. Her proud parents are Robin and Frank Kendrick. The Kendricks heard there was a cute chocolate lab puppy at the pet store. Robin wanted to go see her but had no intentions on getting another dog as they already had Sadie, a yellow lab and a little terrier named Bandit. It was love at first sight. As soon as Robin saw her she knew she would not be able to leave her there. So Jasmine’s world changed for the better that day, she adopted the Kendricks for her forever home.



After you have made the BIG decision to open your heart and home to a forever friend, the next BIG decision is the all important pawfect name. Jasmine had three different names in the first twenty four hours that Robin and Frank had her. Nothing seemed to fit until they thought of Jasmine. Jasmine it was! I would have to agree, she is definitely a jazzy girl.



Jasmine became a guest at day care and part of OUR family on August 8, 2007. She spends three days a week with us. She arrives at day care with her sister and best friend Sadie. Jazzy is full of energy. She is just a fun, sweet, goofy girl. She always makes you smile. Jasmine has a personality all her own. She loves to get hugs and kisses and reciprocates with her own hugs and sloppy kisses – our favorite.



Sadie is our official choir director on her days here. She gets all of her furry friends howlin’. Jasmine has always done the cutest thing since she was a puppy and still does it to this day. When her sister starts howling, Jazzy gets upon Sadie’s back and puts her paws on her. It looks like Jasmine is hugging Sadie. Sadie hooowwwls and Jazzy barks. Sweet!

Jasmine has fun playing with a lot of furry friends. A couple of her favorite friends are Miss Mia Sylvester, a labradoodle and Kirby (Girl) Bly, an English setter. She’s never too far from Sadie though. Robin says Jasmine doesn’t like it when they leave her at home and has been known to take out her frustrations on a rug or two.

I’m sure your parents would agree that your unique personality more than makes up for any bad things you do. We love you Jazzy girl! You are a sweet, sweet girl. You have left your paw prints on our hearts for always and that is why you are our “Dog of the Month” for May.
