Jagger

Jagger is a three year old Bulldog. His proud parent is Deb Zoll. Deb obtained Jagger from a breeder in Findlay. Deb not only loves the Bulldog breed, but she also loves the Rolling Stones, hence the name Jagger as in Mick. Jagger was a pretty active puppy and quite a handful. As he has gotten older he's become very laid back. That is, however, until Deb got his baby brother Sailor. Deb reports that Jagger loves to go in the car with her. If his face is hanging out of the window at a stop light, he usually gets comments or talked to. He also has a passion for the biscuits they give out at the bank drive-thru.

Jagger became a guest at the day care on December 21, 2004. He spends half days with us, usually two or three times a week. Jagger loves his day care. It's all Deb can do to get out of her car fast enough so Jagger can run to the door. He shares his home with little brother Sailor, a Boston Terrier pup, who tags along quite literally with Jagger to day care. Sailer is either chewing on Jagger's face or latched on to his collar and totally tolerating it, Jagger looks up at you with those BIG eyes of his as if to say "Somebody tell junior to STOP!"

Jagger may be short in stature, but those stubby legs of his have no problem letting him keep up with all of his furry friends. What can you say about Jaggie Butt, as we affectionately call him here. You could go on forever about Jagger. We ABSOLUTELY LOVE Jagger to death. He is VERY special to all of us. He gives the absolute BEST hugs ever.

Out of all of the dogs here, Jagger gets the most comments made about him, when customers come into the office and see him setting by the gate. There is NO WAY you can have a bad day with Jagger around because you look at him and smile.

Jagger's looks and personality can provide your imagination with countless visial images. Such as Jagger as a newspaper editor or a tough P.I. How about a poker player or a scruffy tugboat captain with a stogie in his mouth and a tattoo of MOM on his shoulder. It's easy to see why Jaggie Butt has left his paw prints on our hearts and since he makes us all so JOLLY, it's only appropriate that he be our Dog of the Month for December.
