Tucker

Tucker is a one year old Lab mix. His proud parents are Cole Shaw and Makiah Maxson. The story goes that while attending a Fourth of July cookout last year, Makiah's dad told her and Cole that their friends had Lab puppies to give away. So, they went to see the puppies and of course they picked the cutest one. It was love at first sight. The rest is history.

Tucker became a guest at the Howl-a-Day Inn on November 16, 2005. He is our little commuter dog. His parents both attend Ohio State University, so we get to enjoy Tucker when his parents are here in Findlay on breaks. We always look forward to seeing him, it is like Aunt Cindy's little nephew is home from college.

Tucker is a very sweet dog with a great personality. He plays well with everyone, but his special friends are Shiba, Lucy Lu, Poppy, and Sammy. His best friend is Sable. He likes to play in the pool and cool off on hot summer days. His passion for digging tells me that his career would probably be along the lines of an archaeologist, possibly digging up old bones?

It's been reported that Tucker thinks he's a lap dog. He loves to lay on his mom and dad's lap while they are on the couch. He barks at anyone with a water bottle so they will hurry up and give it to him to chew on. Tucker learned to sit and shake a paw at a very early age. He's also enjoying his new baby sister, Sophia, a Rottweiler.

We love it when Tucker spends his days at the Howl-a-Day Inn. Tucker has left his paw prints on our hearts and we know he will go back to school and brag about how he was our Dog of the Month for August.
